Benefit Screening Program

The Benefit Screening Program provides free screening services to working families to determine their eligibility for many economic supports (including food stamps, children’s health insurance, child care assistance, and energy assistance).

These services are offered year-round at sites throughout metro Atlanta. No prior experience is required. All that you need is a desire to help families on the road to financial stability.

If you volunteer with the APC, you will receive:

• professional training on all software programs used
• flexible hours: daytime, evenings, and/or weekends
• the sense of giving that comes with helping others
