Do you need family (or individual) counseling?

Many families face internal crises that are preventing them from becoming stable. For instance, your family may be having difficulty coping with life's unexpected and sometimes tragic twists and turns (such as divorce, domestic violence, illness, drug and alcohol abuse, parent-child conflicts, HIV/AIDS, or the death of a loved one). You may just need a professional counselor to help you work through these situations.

The following organizations provide professional counselors that may be able to help you in your time of need. All services are confidential.

Families First offers an extensive array of family counseling and educational programs. They offer individual and family counseling, as well as a family violence intervention program. Their counselors will sit with you and help you work through life's problems. (404) 853-2800.

Jewish Family and Career Services provides guidance and support in the areas of mental health and lifecycle concerns. Individual, couple, family and group therapy is available, as well as support groups for issues of bereavement, divorce, cancer sufferers and families of cancer patients. They also offer a full range of psychological testing, as well as psychiatric assessments and medication management. (770) 677-9300.
