Goodwill of North Georgia offers a full range of career counseling and job skills training classes. These classes focus on workforce development, skills development, and economic development. Center for Family Resources provides employment and educational programs to residents of Cobb County. Center for Working Families provides employment and educational programs to residents of NPU-V (which includes Adair Park, Capitol Homes, Mechanicsville, Pittsburgh, Peoplestown, and Summerhill). Atlanta Workforce Development Agency, a bureau of the city of Atlanta, offers an extensive array of employment and educational programs to residents of Atlanta. These classes focus on workforce development and skills development. AWDA staffs certified career advisors to help you identify your needs and help you through the process. Their programs can help you gain the skills necessary to find and maintain sustainable employment. Classes include GED classes, job skills training, and interviewing techniques.
